I build secure, practical systems. This is where I think out loud about the work.
By day I’m a Solutions Architect designing scalable, security-first infrastructure for organizations that can’t afford to get it wrong. The rest of the time I’m building other things — homelab rigs, Lego cities, Magic: The Gathering decks, and a 2004 Chevy Colorado that’s been in my family over 20 years and is entering its classic/restoration period. This site is where those worlds overlap: writing about what I’m learning, projects I’m working on, and how good technology can quietly do a lot of good for organizations that can’t afford to hire it out.
I also like dabbling in whatever’s emerging at the edges — new tools, new tech, new ways of doing things. The boundary of “what IT can do” keeps moving, and following it out is half the fun.
